Application Process

Key manufacturing steps for facial mask formulations

01

Substrate Impregnation

For sheet masks: immerse pre-cut substrate (cotton, bio-cellulose, microfiber) in essence solution under vacuum (−0.08 to −0.06 MPa) for 3-5 min to ensure complete and uniform impregnation.

02

Essence Preparation

Dissolve collagen and HA in deionized water at 30-40°C. Add humectants (glycerin, betaine), preservatives and functional actives. Adjust pH to 5.5-6.5. Cool to room temperature before impregnation.

03

Packaging & Sealing

Pack impregnated masks in individual aluminum foil pouches under semi-aseptic conditions. Seal within 30 seconds to prevent contamination. Fill essence volume: 20-30 mL per sheet mask.

04

Sterilization & QC

Gamma irradiation (25 kGy) or ETO sterilization for preservative-free masks. Perform microbial limit test per USP <61>, preservative efficacy test per USP <51>, and stability testing at 40°C/75% RH.
